asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl
So a co-worker pointed out a neat site that was optimized for the phrase asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl and it seems to be getting a bunch of traffic from Google. We were curious how much traffic, so we're jumping into the conversation too. We were curious if a new website that had this crazy search phrase as the domain would rank better than the original blog post. We'll see.
For the original post about asdf..., go check out David's blog. He's cooler than us. We're just the copycats.
What's the Point?
Two-fold, I guess.
- Let's see if this site ranks better b/c it has the asdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjklasdfghjkl.com domain.
- To test and see what kind of traffic this is. Who are you people? Why are you searching on this? If we put up links to other sites, will you click on them? Is optimizing for something silly and perhaps completely irrelevant (yet high in search volume) worthwhile or is it completely pointless? When we figure it out, we'll post the conclusion here.
Stay tuned.
